gtFtr

Hi there, and welcome to gtFtr - Get Fitter with Twitter.

We're in very early beta stages at the moment but if you want to play you can.

The idea is to use Twitter to record your exercise activity, and we'll show you how you're doing.

Quite how it's going to evolve is any ones guess right now - we'd love your suggestions.

To use the system (the first time you send a message you're automatically registered) is simple. Send us a twit in the right format (that's really important as the parser isn't the cleverest bit of code I've ever written), the system will grab the message and prepare the graph.

You can read about the adventures and evolutions on our blog (please feel free to comment).

At the moment we only support a couple of exercises (see the blog for details on how to format the messages), but we'd love to hear what you'd like added.

To get at your graphs... enter your Twitter screen name in the box and hit "Enter"...

(if you've not sent any data yet, have a look at mine - just enter "offbeatmammal" in the form).

Before that... make sure you have Microsoft Silverlight v1.0 installed or you won't be able to see anything....

Oh, if you want to contact us to suggest a new exercise or as any questions there's a form or you can add comments to our blog

Important: by sending a message to us via Twitter you're happy to have the content exposed in any way (you've already made that choice using Twitter). If you decide you don't want the information out there please feel free to contact us and we'll scrub the data from our system (note: you should also remove any @gtFtr messages from your history as well) but remember ... everything in the internet is probably cached somewhere so be smart.

Brought to you by an OffBeatMammal.
